A general draft began in the canopy apartments, the Joint Defense Force beleaguered and needing reinforcement, crash course boot camps being opened(not all of them legal) to train the incoming flow. At the JDF HQ, scanner chambers hooked up to the Earth wildlife database reformatted and “animalized” the troops, the new forms being sturdier than the unmodified robot bodies.  Ion gun posts were rigged in the critical districts, those manning them watching the entrances into the pre-reformatting tunne Transtech Two Brushfire
